HYPNOTHERAPY

We have recently included hypnotherapy in our practice for the benefit and comfort of our clients.

If you wish, we will lead you into a light state of hypnosis, where you will still be fully aware of everything that's going on. In this state, you will be fully relaxed, physically and mentally. Your eyes will be open much of the time and the procedure won't bother you at all.

Certified Hypnotherapist

Contrary to popular opinion, a hypnotist has no "power" over you. In fact, you actually hypnotize yourself; are still fully aware, and wouldn't do anything against your will. Hypnosis is simply a shift from using the left side of your brain to using the right side. The left side is your conscious or "will power." The right side is your subconscious side or "imagination." When the will and imagination are in conflict, the imagination always wins. That's why you can want to quit smoking or lose weight all you want, with all your will power. But--if you don't back it up with your imagination, most times it doesn't work. Hypnosis increases your concentration 100 times.

We've taken the hypnotic journey many times and have taken many others on the same journey.

We know the way . . .

If you're able and willing to follow directions, you'll discover youor own Shangri-La. A wonderfully euphoric place of peace and calm, safety, strength and super-awareness. It feels better than any designer drugs or alcohol could ever possibly make you feel, it's legal and it's a lot less expensive in the long run. Especially when you learn to hypnotize yourself.

Hypnosis simply relaxes the physical and the mental, so you can get in touch with your subconscious mind to make wanted changes in your life and have a wonderful time doing it. . . It's like visiting heaven on earth, but there's nothing mystical about it. It's a scientific, proven and controllable phenomenon. It can be enjoyed and used by 90% of the population.

If you really want to

Quit Smoking, Lose Weight, Excel in Sports or School, Reduce Stress, Have a Better Memory, Lose your Fears of Spiders or Heights, or whatever, then hypnosis may be your answer.

Did You Know?

You're in control and not asleep while in hypnosis. You can come out of hypnosis any time you want. Hypnosis uses the super powers of your own mind. Hypnosis is directed physical and mental relaxation.

Can You be Hypnotized?

I don't know. That's entirely up to you. You actually hypnotize yourself by following the directions of the hypnotherapist who is your guide. It's very simple and YOU have all the control. If you don't, or can't follow the directions, you don't get to go.

When you're in hypnosis, you're in "ALPHA." A state of complete relaxation, both physically and mentally. You experience "ALPHA" just before falling asleep. Hypnosis is nothing to fear.

You Can Be Hypnotized

(Or learn to hypnotize yourself)

IF

IF you have an I.Q. of at least 70. The more intelligent and imaginative you are, the easier it is to enter the hypnotic state, and the faster you will be able to harness this wonderful "Mind Power."

IF you don't believe the Old Wive's Tales of "B" Grade Movies. Hypnosis can't hurt you or make you do things you wouldn't ordinarily do. . .
For instance: A subject might take the suggestion from a stage hypnotist to sing like Elvis, because it sounds like fun, doesn't violate any of his values and will add to the entertainment. He is able to do this in front of a crowd without "stage fright" because the state of hypnosis bypasses the critical (fault finding) factors you experience while you are using only your conscious mind. . . This same subject, on the same occasion, being truly super aware of what is going on at all times while in the hypnotic state, would never take off his or her clothes in front of everyone, or tell where he or she hides money, for instance, unless they would do so anyway while in a conscious state. . . Hypnosis does not in any way relax your inhibitions the way certain drugs and alcohol do, and it does NOT give a hypnotist "POWER" over you. You'll have what is called "Selective Thinking" and have a choice as to what YOU want to think. Hypnosis just intensifies that thought by 100 times!

IF you're on drugs or alcohol it won't work!
